When the mini-series was originally announced, it was hard to take the concept seriously. After all, the
best thing about the original series was the opening credit narration. But Ron Moore took everything
good about the original series and found a way to make it better. Through a focus on character, the
mini-series and subsequent series have been far more impressive than anyone might have guessed.
With the conclusion of its fourth and final season in early 2009, Battlestar: Galactica continued to pave
new ground. Capsule reviews were written for the second season. Reviews and commentary for the
